RiskSound System

Born and raised in the Netherlands, France, the United States, the United Kingdom and several other countries, Risk Sound System (RSS) have grown out to produce and play their own eclectic sound they like to call Real House Music. Driven by a strong longing for the true diverse spirit of dance music, founding member Michael Richters (of Club Risk fame) quickly gathered together some of his likeminded friends to start this fresh and innovative collective. The Flexican

The Flexican was born in 1983 in Mexico City. When he is eight years old he moves to Holland. Six years later he decides to swap his drum set for a set of turntables and emerges as a fanatical underground Hip Hop DJ and turntablist. Soon he starts digging to the roots of Hip Hop samples and breaks. After passing old soul, funk, rock, and disco he ultimately hits house, latin, and broken beats. As the true eclectic he is, he starts using these influences in his DJ sets, and even his name refers to this road: The Flexican. He flexibly moves in and between various music tendencies.
