The self-professed 'originator of the Baltimore Club Sound', Karizma has a knack for putting his crowds in the palm of his hand. Karizma was a member of the popular house collective The Basement Boys, and has released a number of house hits with DJ Spen.
On his debut solo album A Mind Of Its Own, Karizma pushes the boundaries to illustrate that he is more than just a House DJ. The innovative Baltimore DJ is ingrained with an eclectic passion and understanding of music; from the broken soul classic 'Twyst This' to the deep tech of 'Tech This Out Pt. 2', or the melodic house of 'Tha D'. Whether it's hip hop or house, funk, boogie or broken beat, Karizma connects the soul that flows through the genres alike, resulting in an album that rhythmically illustrates the breadth of his musical zeal . The album contains a range of grooves, from the electronic street-soul of 'Sad Isn't It' to the jazz infused club banger of ' The Damn Thing'. Karizma stayed true to the concept of A Mind Of Its Own by refusing to be caged in by genre.
