After a few drinks, and a couple of limelight nights, Mateo became the dj for F.L.C. Switching his style up completely, he now concentrated on cutting and scratching funk, soul, and hip hop. Cut to 1994, and the criminals get signed!!!!!!this allowed mateo to tour the world spinnig records at a very young age.Going from town to town, buying every record he could get his hands on, then rockin the crowd with them that night! Mateo Had spun in more places at 20 then most people visit in their whole life! In Between tours with the Criminals, he continued to hone his craft at NY's hottest Night Clubs. Alongside DJ's like Clark Kent, Mark Ronson, Stretch Armstrong and DJ Riz, He carved His Name in Stone, making himself a fixture at all the hot party's! He has held residence at the Limelight, Tunnell, Sound Factory, Shine, Kaos, Life, Spa, System, Spirit,Avalon, Spider Bar, Bed, Lot 61, Crobar NY,and too many more to list. He now splits his time between spinnig for the criminals, Bungalow 8, and Super events, such as the Golden Globes, Academy Awards, Cannes film Festival and private celebrity Party's. Mateo Also Produces music For the Band Cooley high, and has worked with Finley Quaye, Yerba Buena, and Vitiman C. He was the dj for Brittney Spears New Years eve 2003, and Camen Electra's wedding as seen on MTV. As one of the hottest young DJ-Producers out, he cant be stopped!
