Fish Go Deep **

Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson have been playing records in public since the late 1980s. Their residency at Ireland’s longest running and best known house club, Sweat at Sir Henry’s in Cork, spanned more than a decade and influenced a generation of Irish clubbers and deejays. Over the 1990s Sweat built up a huge international reputation, being variously described as "a gorgeous blend of underground house" (i-D), a "deep house frenzy" (The Face) and "the best music on that side of the Irish Sea" (DJ Magazine). The night was one of Muzik magazine's ten best of 1998/99 and was named best regional club on three occasions at the Smirnoff Dance Club Awards.

Fun Lovin' Criminals (DJ Set) *

Fun Lovin' Criminals was formed in 1993 when Huey found himself behind the bar at New York's Limelight where he met Fast, who was working in the bowels of the club. Fast was already in a band at this point - he and F-L-C's first drummer Steve-O had formed a techno group. Meanwhile, Huey was spending a lot of time playing blues guitar and soon started writing tunes with Fast. Huey and Fast recruited Steve-O to drum, and the Fun Lovin' Criminals were formed. The three became roommates and ended up jamming together in their apartment and writing songs until they had enough material to convince the Limelight's manager to let them play a gig at the club.

In 1994, Carroll's big chance came when he was asked by Little Louie Vega to write a song for house diva vocalist Barbara Tucker.
