Powdeejays offers top class entertainment and the best artists in their genre. Besides the regular club settings all artists are also available for corporate events or private parties.

We have a few fantastic packages for corporate- and private events combining DJ’s and musicians and we can offer customized entertainment packages completely up to your wishes. For any corporate occasion like conferences, dinners, and product launches, sales meeting, seminars, charities or workshops we can create an appropriate musical setting. For weddings and birthday parties and all other social events, we have plenty of ideas to help you create an entertainment package that is right for your event and guests.

The regular artists packages will also definitely ensure a memorable evening for your guests. All of the packages can be extended or shortened if needed.

LEX EMPRESS (singer jazz/soul-lounge/dance)

After singing alongside the worlds greatest DJ’s all around the globe for several years, this former model and tremendously gifted singer finally settled down in Amsterdam a few years ago. With the brightest voice, stunning looks and warm personality she proved to be a rich asset to the Dutch entertainment scene.
Her improvising skills are astonishing. With 4 octaves of vocal reach and singing in languages, Italian, Portuguese, French and English she blows away any audience.
Besides singing house music and lounge she specializes in jazz and Bossa Nova. Not just an MC or host of the night, but due to her beauty, musical input and social skills she is a true asset to your event. Lex Empress can take a night from the opening cocktails to the last song on the dance floor.

MAVIS ACQUAH (singer soul/r&b/jazz/dance)

With her smooth, powerful voice and warm personality she wows every crowd.

At the moment she’s working on a lot of different projects: She’s part of Gregor Salto’s Bateria team, one of the regular vocalists of Hardsoul, vocalist of Amsterjamming (Alex van Oostrom, percussionist Dillon Lewis and Arjan M), vocalist for Moon Baker, part of the Future Groove Express and resident of Citydance.

SAXSYMBOL (SAX)

Saxophonist Machiel ‘Saxsymbol’ van der Aar has started his carreer in 2001 when he became the regular saxophonist of DJ and producer Gregor Salto. You can hear him play at many of Gregor’s productions (like the club hit ‘Decision’). Since then he’s worked with deejays like Erick E, Jean and Marcello and played at Algiers, Dubai, Moscow, Portugal, St. Petersburg, Istanbul and Beverly Hills. He was a support act of Earth Wind & Fire, played for Tommy Hilfiger and Bob Geldof and hosted the VIP-lounges of Marco Borsato’s Wit Licht tour. In August 2008 his debut album SXSMBL was released on G-REX Music, which contains the huge hit ‘Samba de Liberdade’ with Lex empress. His flexibility, musical skills and charismatic personality are a must have to complete your event.

JOOST SWART (PIANO)

Phenomenal jazz pianist able to play various genres of music in a live setting with band and also amazing playing alongside a DJ.
Joost, an outstanding improviser by nature, originally was trained as a classical pianist since the tender age of 8, but soon developed an interest for jazz and comtemporary music. After leaving highschool he immediately was admitted to the Conservatory of Groningen (The Netherlands), where during his study of jazz piano he was trained by the Dutch jazz elite, from Michiel Borstlap and Jasper van 't Hof, to Henk Meutgeert. Currently, besides being a highly in demand soloist in several established jazz groups like Rik Mol Group and Ben van den Dungen Quartet, Joost is working on a wide range of projects. Recent highlights include regular concerts among others with Benjamin Herman, Jesse van Ruller, John Engels, Hans Dulfer, Rick Margitza, Vincent Herring, Don Braden, Valery Ponomarev, Freddie Bryant and Ralph Peterson.
